- G N Ramachandran is one of the founding fathers of Biophysics in India. In 1954, he proposed triple helical coiled-coil structure for collagen that formed the basis of much of the research about collagen at a molecular level.
- In commemoration of G.N. Ramachandran’s birth Centenary celebrations (1922-2022), we are delighted to invite all scientists, academicians, young researchers, business delegations and students from all over the world to attend the “Collagen Symposium-2022” during October 6-8, 2022 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
- Conference goal is to promote research in Collagen through presentations and discussions by highlighting the recent outstanding achievements in Collagen: Structure & function; Diseases; Smart biomaterials and clinical applications.
